Ash
The Vampire Witch

Ash is immensely powerful, yet she rarely takes anything seriously, using her magic more to toy with others than for any noble purpose. She can drain a person’s blood without ever needing to bite. She is also capable of tearing the soul from a body and shifting seamlessly into human form. Even her pumpkin-shaped earring doubles as a weapon, she can remove it and detonate it at will. And these are only the abilities she has chosen to reveal so far.

She has shown a particular fascination with Luke since their first meeting in Volume One. Whether her interest is genuine or simply a craving for his blood remains unclear.

Ash’s strength borders on untouchable. When Kisara struck her head-on with the powerful Lovely Beam, it had no effect, Ash merely laughed it off. Despite this, there is one person she fears: Kenji, who possesses the terrifying ability that can erase her from existence entirely.

For now, Ash is allied with Kisara and her friends in their effort to defeat Haru, but her motives are far from selfless. If Haru falls, Ash stands to gain.

Naomi

Naomi possesses the unsettling ability to enter a person’s dreams, where she studies their deepest fears and learns how to exploit them. Once she has what she needs, she can trap her victim in an endless nightmare, bending reality to torment them until she ultimately chooses to consume them.

Kenji was one of her targets. After invading his dreams and getting a taste of his fears, Naomi became fixated on him. Her fascination twisted into obsession, she wanted to keep him entirely for herself. She “gifted” him magical abilities and commanded him to kill Kisara, hoping to bind him to her nightmare forever.

However, Naomi underestimated him. Kenji managed to break free from her control, slipping out of the nightmare she had crafted for him.

Even now, Naomi hasn’t let go. She continues to pursue him, seeking to wear down his mind so she can feed on his suffering and reclaim what she believes belongs to her.

Starry

Starry wields light magic, but among the witches, she is widely regarded as the weakest. Moon, however, sees her differently. After Ash nearly drained him of all his blood upon escaping her world and entering the human realm, it was Starry who healed him, an act that revealed a strength others tend to overlook.

Unlike the other witches, Starry is gentle and kind-hearted, only carrying out her Master’s orders when she has no other choice. There is a quietness to her that sets her apart; Moon has noted that she has never spoken a single word, leading him to believe she may be unable to speak at all.

Orchid

Orchid is ruthless and utterly indifferent to human life, viewing it as fragile and insignificant. She wields a massive, spike-lined hammer with devastating power, and moves through the skies atop white clouds, as if the storm itself answers to her will.

She harbors a deep, burning hatred for Kisara, whom she deems unworthy of her powers. To Orchid, Kisara is nothing more than an impostor, a weak, undeserving girl who was handed strength she did not earn. Beneath that contempt, however, lies something far more personal: jealousy. Orchid resents the fact that her Master wants Kisara because he is impressed by her magical powers. She sees it as a betrayal of her own loyalty and strength.

Driven by pride and obsession, Orchid has sworn to kill the blue-haired Magical Girl at any cost, even if it means defying her Master’s direct orders. To her, proving Kisara’s unworthiness matters more than obedience.

Despite her overwhelming power, Orchid is not invincible. She was once defeated when Kisara and Kenji combined their abilities, overwhelming her in a rare moment where teamwork surpassed brute force. It is a loss Orchid has never forgotten, and one she is determined to avenge.

Haru

Haru serves as her Master’s right hand, the one he trusts above all others. It is precisely because of this trust that, after Naomi and Orchid failed, she was sent personally to capture Kisara.

Haru is largely emotionless in the presence of others, speaking and acting with cold detachment. The only exception is when she is with her Master; it is only in his presence that she shows any sign of warmth, and the only time she has ever been seen smiling.

She carries a stuffed animal named Oso, which appears harmless at first glance. In truth, Oso is a devastatingly powerful companion capable of leveling entire cities with a single attack. During the attack on Cherry Town, Haru commanded Oso to unleash “Gravity Bomb,” an attack that tore the souls from over two hundred people while reducing nearly half the city to ruins.

However, Oso is not the only source of her power. Haru herself can traverse through black void-like portals, teleport others at will, and fly effortlessly across great distances.

She does not respond to pleas or mercy. Haru exists solely to carry out her Master’s will, and at present, that singular directive is clear: bring Kisara to him by any means necessary.
