My Original Song "Blue"


I wrote this song for my manga series, Kisara's Moon. Kenji sings it in Volume 4. I tried to tell a story within the song of how Kenji feels about the girl he loves. This song is him expressing exactly how he feels and why he feels that way. It's difficult for him to say it out loud. So, he chooses to sing about his feelings instead. 

I thought about singing the song myself but I'm way too shy to ever do something like that. I only sing for my close friends and family. Never public. It's just too hard for me to do that. Besides, this song was meant to be sung by someone else. I decided to choose someone I trusted to bring the song to life in a beautiful way. Justcosplaysings is the one who did the beautiful vocals and instrumentals for "Blue". She did an amazing job! I love that she wanted to go over some manga pages to get a feel of Kenji's character and why he loves the girl with the blue hair.  It was an honor being able to work with such kind-hearted person who is also an amazingly talented artist.
