My new single is out! This song is "Through the Shadows" from my manga series, Kisara's Moon. When writing the lyrics to this song, I thought about all the struggles I went through growing up and all of the people who were always there for me. This song is about finding strength not just in yourself but also about the power of friendship and family. Kisara sings about how she won't give up in the search for her parents and that her friends are there for her by offering her their love and support. There's a part of the lyrics that says, "Even when doubt is all you see, you'll never bear the weight alone with me." That is Kenji telling Kisara that she is never alone. Unlike my last single, this one is very upbeat. It was a lot of fun to record. I'm so happy with how it turned out
